🎓 Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Open to Indian scientists and engineers working abroad, under 40 years of age.
  2. Must have a higher degree (Ph.D. in Science/Engineering, Masters in Engineering/Technology, MD in Medicine) with enough professional experience.
  3. Candidates should have an outstanding research track record, shown by publications and recognitions.
  4. Not holding any permanent/tenure-track/contractual position in any Indian institution.
  5. Must be working abroad at the time of nomination.

📝 Application Process:

  1. Choose Institution: Candidates must choose a host institution in India willing to support their research.
  2. Nomination: Institutions should forward nominations to SERB.
  3. Selection: A special committee periodically selects fellows.
  4. Submission: Nominations are accepted throughout the year, only through the head or an authorized person of the organization/university/institute.
