Application Process
- Prepare Your Proposal: Clearly outline your project, including objectives, target audience, expected outcomes, and how it aligns with FOL’s focus areas:
- General Education: Projects that develop literacy skills in children and adults, train teachers and school administrators, support girls’ education, promote STEM education, or offer vocational training with sustainable outcomes.
- Health Education: Initiatives that provide Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programs in schools, train educators in health curricula, educate communities on health practices, support medical staff education, or inform patients about hygiene and health.
- Psychosocial Support: Programs offering long-term support to vulnerable groups—such as children, youth, and women—by creating nurturing environments with education, shelter, and food, aiming for sustainability and self-independence.
- Ensure Eligibility: Confirm that your organization meets all eligibility criteria mentioned above.
- Submit Your Application: Applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed quarterly. Submit your proposal through the official FOL website:
- Await Review: After submission, your application will be reviewed in the next quarterly FOL Board meeting. Ensure your contact information is accurate for any follow-up inquiries.
Application review cycle:
- Applications submitted between January to March are reviewed during the first week of April
- Applications submitted between April to June are reviewed during the first week of July
- Applications submitted between July to September are reviewed during the first week of October
- Applications submitted between October to December are reviewed during the first week of January
