🚀 About Fellowship:
The Dalai Lama Fellows 2025 program is a unique opportunity for young changemakers to deepen their impact on the world. Over the course of a year, fellows will engage in online learning, one-on-one coaching, and group learning calls designed to enhance their leadership skills, foster personal growth, and build their social change projects. Participants will also attend a 5-day Contemplative Leadership Assembly in the United States, where they will engage in transformative learning experiences, network with like-minded peers, and receive support in their projects. In 2026, fellows will join the LifeLong Fellows global leadership community, continuing their journey of learning and impact.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Dalai Lama Fellows 2025 program, applicants must:
- Be between the ages of 20 and 36 years old as of April 1, 2025
- Be fluent in written and spoken English
- Have current engagement with or well-articulated plans for a social change project, with a commitment to continuing this project throughout the fellowship year
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the community and issues their project addresses, with at least one year of previous experience working with that community
- Be interested in learning and engaging in contemplative practices throughout the fellowship year
- Be committed to participating fully in all aspects of the program, including online learning, coaching calls, and group discussions (estimated 12 hours per month)
- Be able to attend the Contemplative Leadership Assembly in mid-July 2025, with costs covered by DLF
📝 Application Process:
The application for the Dalai Lama Fellows 2025 program opens on October 15, 2024, and closes on December 3, 2024, at 22:00 UTC. To apply, candidates must:
- Submit an online application form, providing details about their social change project, experience, and leadership aspirations.
- Include a personal statement demonstrating their vision, motivation, and readiness to engage in the fellowship year.
- Provide references that can speak to their social change work and leadership potential.
- Ensure all required materials are submitted before the application deadline.
Fellows will be selected and notified between February and March 2025, followed by a virtual onboarding session in March 2025. The formal fellowship year will commence in April 2025.
