Program Overview!

Are you passionate about strengthening civil society and promoting democracy in the Eastern Partnership region? The “Enhancing the Resilience of Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership” (ERICS-EaP) project offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact. This initiative, funded by the European Commission and led by the Transatlantic Foundation in collaboration with the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, aims to empower civil society organizations (CSOs) across six Eastern Partnership countries. By participating, you’ll contribute to fostering inclusive, resilient, and democratic societies in a region facing significant challenges.

The ERICS-EaP project is a comprehensive initiative designed to bolster the role of civil society in promoting democratic governance and reform within the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries. Running from January 2024 to December 2027, this project addresses the pressing challenges faced by CSOs in a region marked by political tensions, conflicts, and authoritarian tendencies.

Application Process

  1. Prepare Your Proposal: Develop a detailed project proposal outlining your organization’s objectives, planned activities, expected outcomes, and how the grant will enhance your capacity to promote democratic reforms.
  2. Complete Application Forms: Access and fill out the application and budget forms available on the official ERICS-EaP project page. Ensure all sections are thoroughly completed and accurately reflect your project plans.
  3. Submit Your Application: Follow the submission guidelines provided on the project website. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the project’s conclusion in December 2027.
  4. Await Evaluation: After submission, your application will undergo a review process. Successful applicants will be notified and provided with further instructions regarding the disbursement of funds and participation in capacity-building activities.

The primary goal of the ERICS-EaP grant is to enhance the capabilities and resilience of civil society organizations in the EaP region.
