The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations. It focuses on promoting and protecting intellectual property (IP) across the world.

Earn While You Learn. Applications are open for the WIPO Young Experts Program 2025-2026. This two-year program lets young professionals gain hands-on experience in the field of Intellectual Property (IP) and various other WIPO projects. WIPO stands for the World Intellectual Property Organization, a specialized agency of the United Nations that focuses on intellectual property. Participants, known as YEPs, will work for two years in Geneva, Switzerland. This is a fully-funded program, with all expenses covered.

🚀 About Scholarship:

The WIPO Young Experts Program (YEP) is a two-year, fully-funded opportunity for young professionals to gain experience in the field of intellectual property and other WIPO projects. Participants will work in Geneva, Switzerland, and will receive a monthly stipend, among other benefits.

Through this program, WIPO aims to equip young experts with skills and knowledge that can contribute to their countries’ and regions’ future economic growth. The WIPO Young Experts Program is a unique leadership opportunity. People from all around the world are eligible to apply. Applicants must hold a university degree and be available for 24 months from 2025 to 2026. 🎓 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be 35 years old or younger at the time of application.
  • Must be available for 24 months, starting from 2025.
  • Must hold a university degree.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge or experience in IP, innovation, or creativity.

📝 Application Process:

  1. Prepare Your Application: Write a strong motivation letter that clearly states why you are the right candidate for the program.
  2. Initial Screening Tests: Conducted at the end of August 2024.
  3. Online Interview: Scheduled for September 2024.
  4. Selection: Final selection will be made in October 2024.
  5. Onboarding: Takes place between November and January 2025.
  6. Program Start: Begins on February 1, 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland.
