About Fellowship:

The Gandhi Fellowship, a flagship initiative of the Kaivalya Education Foundation, was inaugurated in 2008 as a response to the evolving needs of the youth in India. This transformative fellowship stands as a testament to the foundation’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the holistic development of young individuals and preparing them for leadership roles in the complex and dynamic world we live in.

The fellowship is designed as a transformative journey for young minds, providing them with a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. Through immersion in grassroots communities, fellows gain profound insights into the challenges faced by these communities and, in turn, develop the skills necessary to be effective change agents. The experiential learning component is at the heart of the fellowship, enabling participants to not only understand societal issues but also actively contribute to sustainable solutions.

As the fellowship progresses, participants are empowered to embrace their roles as changemakers, equipped with 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and adaptability. The overarching goal is to instill a sense of social responsibility, encouraging fellows to contribute meaningfully to society and address pressing challenges with creativity and resilience.
