Program Overview!

Designed for undergraduate students from all around the world to study in the United States for one semester, the fully sponsored Global UGRAD Program is Supported by the U.S. Department of State, this program provides abroad students with American education, cultural exposure, and community service along with leadership development.

At American colleges, students live in on-campus apartments next to American colleagues. Since, should necessary, selected applicants complete English language instruction before the program, the program does not require TOEFL/IELTS at the time of application.

Application Process

  1. Visit the official Global UGRAD website for country-specific requirements.
  2. Includes academic transcripts, recommendation letters, a personal statement, and a CV.
  3. Apply through the World Learning portal before the deadline.
  4. Shortlisted candidates may need to take a TOEFL test (funded by UGRAD).
  5. If accepted, students receive a placement letter and visa guidance.
  6. Attend a pre-departure orientation before flying to the USA.

About the Scholarship/Fellowship/Internship: The Global UGRAD Program offers one-semester scholarships for non-degree, full-time undergraduate study in the United States. The program is designed to not only provide academic enrichment but also includes components of community service, professional development, and cultural enrichment. Participants have the opportunity to immerse themselves in American culture and society, engage with diverse communities, and gain a deeper understanding of global issues. The program also aims to foster mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the participants’ home countries.
