Participants live with American citizens, participate in community service, and develop leadership skills that are essential for their future careers. ๐ Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a citizen of a participating country
- Must be at least 18 years old by August 2025
- Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program at an accredited institution
- Have at least one academic year remaining after May 2025
- Proficiency in English
- Demonstrate a commitment to community service
Ineligibility Factors:
- U.S. citizens or permanent residents
- Individuals currently studying, training, or working in the U.S.
- Those who havenโt fulfilled the two-year home residency requirement after a U.S.-funded exchange program
- Applicants who have applied for U.S. permanent residency within the past three years
๐ Application Process:
- Registration: Sign up on the UGRAD Student Portal, confirm your registration, and set up a password.
- Complete Application: Fill out sections on personal, academic, and English proficiency details, as well as community service, employment, and hobbies.
- Essays: Write two essays (350-750 words each) on provided topics.
- Upload Recommendations: Submit two recommendation lettersโone from a faculty member and one from a mentor or employer.
- Document Submission: Attach your transcript, photo ID, and both recommendations.
- Final Submission: Ensure all details are accurate, review, and submit the application by the deadline.
