African students can pursue a one-year taught Master’s degree with fully sponsored scholarships offered by the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program housed at the University of Oxford. 📝 Method of Application:
- Apply via the graduate admissions portal at the University of Oxford for your selected Master’s degree using the particular December/January deadline for that course. It is advised to provide all the paperwork at least one week before the deadline.
- Eligible offer holders will be automatically regarded and emailed by Student Fees and Funding.
- Those qualified will be asked to a virtual interview for the AfOx Graduate Scholarship Program.
- Evaluation based on academic quality, leadership experience, alignment with AfOx ideals and themes, and dedication to Africa’s development follows from selection criteria.
- Final Decision: By July candidates will be notified of the result.
Application Process
- November 15th: Applications for various courses due.
- December 3: Medical Sciences Division application deadline as well as for several other courses.
- Monday, January 7: Humanities course application deadline.
- Applications for some Mathematical, Physical, and Life Sciences courses as well as last Medical Sciences Division courses by January 8th.
- For several Social Sciences courses, the application date is January 9.
- Applications for other Social Sciences courses have a deadline on January 28.
- The application deadline for all other courses, Law, and Continuing Education courses is January 29.
