Eligibility Criteria
- Residency: Be domiciled in West Bengal
- Academic Performance: Achieve the following minimum marks in their last qualifying examination:
- Higher Secondary Level (Class XI and XII): At least 60% marks.
- Undergraduate Level: At least 60% marks in Higher Secondary or equivalent.
- Postgraduate Level: At least 53% marks in graduation for general education and 55% for engineering or technology courses.
- Income Limit: The family’s annual income should not exceed ₹2,50,000.
- Course Enrollment: Be enrolled in regular, full-time courses in institutes located in West Bengal.
- Other Criteria: Students should not be receiving any other state or central government scholarship for the same course.
Application Process
- Online Registration: Visit the official SVMCM portal and register by providing basic details.
- Fill Application Form: Log in with your credentials and complete the application form with accurate information.
- Upload Documents: Submit scanned copies of necessary documents, including:
- Mark sheets of the last qualifying examination.
- Income certificate issued by a competent authority.
- First page of the bank passbook showing account details.
- Institute verification form authenticated by the Head of the Institution.
- Submit Application: After reviewing all details, submit the application online.
- Hard Copy Submission: Submit a hard copy of the application form along with photocopies of the bank passbook to your respective institution.
